About

Hello!

If you’re new here, welcome!

If you’re not, welcome to Duckcloth 2.0. I used to run Duckcloth as an online fabric store, but that was then, and this is now.

Now…this is a blog about fabric: for the fabric hunters, the serious seamstresses, the crazy crafters and the textile tragics – you know who you are!

It’s early days, but I’m working towards this becoming your handy guide to the warp and weft of the internet.

I open my little black book to help you find different types of fabric and the best fabric suppliers (bricks and mortar and online).

We’ll also look at where to find the best sewing classes for those of you wanting to sew.

I’ll also showcase other resources for those of you who couldn’t think of anything worse than sewing, but still love textiles and want to know where to find the best readymade ones to decorate your home.

If you’re trying to source something specific, please contact me and l’ll add it to my list. It is a very long list, but I will promise to do my best!

Also, if you’d like to recommend a supplier, I’d love you to share them with me and I’ll try to include them on the site.

If you’d like to hear from me semi-regularly, sign up to the mostly-monthly newsletter below.

Happy reading!
